apple is good at user interfaces.
apple is good making computers.
apple is good making operative system (uh, except for lion ;P)
apple is no good making phones, nor operative systems running on them, too closed the software, too crap the hardware in relationship with the oversized price.

PS i own only apple computers, so i'm not an 'against-apple' ;P

I would like to have it but just bought the i4 a few months ago and must wait for my contract to roll around again to get the newer phone. By that time, though, the i5 should be out... or something even better!

I asked about that today.... If you go and just BUY the i4s somewhere, say eBay, as long as you have an iphone contract, you can just switch the CIM cards....

Then you don't have to pay their change fee....

I really want to attempt it, and may if I find a cheapy i4

The cost must be high, though for the i4S even on eBay. My i4 was $200 with a contract! The sales rep said that without a contract it would have been $650. :faint:

Yeha, but at the same time I just saw an i4 selling for 1.99 + shipping on eBay in almost brand new condition... So it can be VERY cheap.

The $650 is bull... I can get a new iPhone however I want and change the CIm for FREE

But if I wanted to do it through AT&T it's a $250 charge, and a mandatory extension of my contract

THE FUC*?!

I swear that is what she told me and her manager confirmed it! She and her manager were trying to sell us insurance and said if the phone is lost it would be $650 to replace it!!! :wow:

If the phone was like $400, then $650 makes sense?

That's true. I'm going to check out eBay and see what I can find. When Steve had his Blackberry there wasn't a sims card, so he couldn't reuse it when he switched cell phone companies and he couldn't sell it. It staggers my imagination how quickly things change today. Coming from a time where change came rarely and slowly, today a computer purchased can be a dinosaur :icontrexplz: in six months!
