Depends on the drama. If it's a bit of a fuss about something that, while somewhat drama-like, is a valid point then that's fine.

If it's simply trolling or being vile towards another person, then they should be ignored.

Not all drama is the bad kind. But if they are harassing/trolling etc. people. I'll still appreciate they're art.

Drama isn't necessarily bad,
but if it is annoying/trolling/harassing/etc. the argument "Good artist can say what they want/ I support them, because I love their art" is not valid. After all creating woderful work doesn't make you a perfect being or give you the right to do whatever you want.

If anyone is being offended or harassed, I say ban the offender and be done with it. If they're that good they'll find another place to share their art.

Depends on if the drama is really effecting you. Because you don't need that drama, you know.

All good artists create drama in some way. =D

art should be measured equally despite the personality of the artist. if the behaior is really bad he/she should be band from dA which eliminates the need for this question. if not, consider the art and not the artist.

Depends on the drama. If it is hateful (sexist, homophobic, racist) then yes, I ignore. But the usual difference of opinion stuff, no, that is what makes life interesting.

No. I feel the same way with musicians. I might think they are terrible people but I still appreciate their music (this mostly occurs with rappers and rock bands, lol).

Anyway, I've actually run into this situation where someone had a long standing grudge against me. I really didn't care about our little problem from the past and decided to comment on her artwork because I liked it... She still hated my guts apparently. After THAT I stopped commenting, not because I didn't like her, but out of respect for her not wanting to read my comments.
