Actually i figured it out after 2 weeks of being on deviantart! The symbols are as follows:

! Banned or Closed Accounts

~normal/free members or users ( most deviants start out at this rank or status level )

* PM's or Premium members who have paid for or been gifted a subscription

= Official Beta Tester or a PM whos has opted to volunteeer their time and input to test new products and site features ( I am in this class which is the lowest form of ADMIN )

` Former Administrators or Senior Members elected to or granted this status

° Alumni or DeviantART VIP's its 1 of the least use high status ranks

@ Volunteer Message Network Team AKA chat room, Forum and messaging moderators they are the 2nd lowest form of ADMIN


+ General Administrators or deviantART "Pimps" a higher rank of ADMIN

¢ Creative Team 1 of the highest ADMINS they create site features and such

^ Volunteer Gallery Moderators the 3rd lowest form of ADMIN they have the power to remove and or relocate deviations


$ Core Administrators (deviantART Paid Employees)

£ Officially run deviantART accounts/ Promotional
