Hello and welcome to the latest edition of #DevNews! In addition to our coverage of news and features found around dA, we're also bringing you two new features that we'll hope you enjoy: The Columnist Corner and #DevNews Affiliate and Member Interviews! We also plan to introduce more features and contests over the next few months - the fun never stops here at #DevNews.

1) Who or What inspired you to make your group?</b>
I was just wondering how groups worked, and quickly made one with our co-funder, ~DeathCults to see, it turned out to be #Nature-Snaps
2) What is your group all about?
Natural Photography!
Insects, Wildlife, Dogs, Cats, Fish, Droplets, Sunsets, Land, Water and Sky scapes. Anything and everything natural
3) What do you like most about your own group?
All the wonderful varied artwork!
4) What are some future goals for your group?
Our main goal is to become a Super Group, so we can feature the winners of our contests

Your news articles, there's just so much info in them
5) How many groups are you an admin of?
Just the one.
6) Who inspired you as an artist?
My friend and #Nature-Snaps co-founder ~DeathCults, *andy-j-s, ~q-118 and *thrumyeye mainly.
7) What's your favorite color, and why?
Greens, or browns, because they mix well and are such wonderful colours (and camoflauge)
8) Tell us a random fact about yourself that you think everybody should know.
That I could never have believed #Nature-Snaps would have over 200 members, let alone having nearly 1,200!
9) A cute little turtle is crossing the road, going about his merry way, when here comes a big ol' monster truck zooming right towards him. Quick! What do you do?

Apples, definitely, then oranges.
11) How did you find dA?
Through `Scellanis, who I 'watched' on Elfwood, a Fantasy Art Site, but as my art wasn't just fantasy, I moved here.

The Summer!

As for the staff of #DevNews, we have no April Fool's jokes to play on you, our faithful readers. However, we would like to quell the rumors going around that our fearless leader and founder, `TimberClipse, is actually a secret agent for all the behind-the-scenes happenings in North America. That information is an unsubstantiated fabrication, obviously.
`TimberClipse also has deals going on in South America, Europe, and most of Asia. Get the facts right, people.

I'm sitting here forever, not knowing what to say at all...
[And for those who know me... well, I'm not usually one without words,
But seriously! Seriously??
Of course the first thing to say is thank you...
I just... wow, it's just that this is never something where I would have ever considered seeing myself!!
And I very VERY STRONGLY believe, that there is no way I could even be bestowed such a humbling honour, having done anything at all on my own!
As far as The Shelter Project goes... it would not, could NOT ever be any of the success that it is at all, if it was not for ALL of those who have both made the purchases which have had the portion proceeds donated to the animals that I volunteer with, AAAAND not to mention what it does mean to me ALL of those who have promoted The Shelter Project as well! Anyone who has done ANYTHING to help me with the animals that I help, deserves recognition, too!
I was just updating some of the "permanent features" on my page in regard to this, when noticed a new note come in, from one of my dear friends here *mim304 to direct me to this article!
Dear TC, and all the wonderful work you do on these types of articles all the time,
THANK YOU for your very kind words, but I am extremely humbled as I only feel that I try my best to either give back or pay-it-forward, due to what support I have received here on dA, in general.
If I am a friend, it is because of the wonderful friendships I've been blessed/lucky/what-have-you to make here on dA!
However, one thing is true, I DO believe strongly in the sense of community, and people coming together, both HERE on dA, as well as, in LIFE in general.
