Suggest-a-thon Winner!For the last few months, I've been running the Suggest-a-thon, my first Community Challenge. Recently, there have been a lot of people complaining about the quality of Daily Deviations, and I wanted to try and change that. A participant in the challenge was required to suggest as many Daily Deviations as they could. I started this challenge in hope that the people who were unhappy with the Daily Deviations could be motivated to do something about it.
After three months of suggestions, we have a clear winner! Congratulations to =rioIu who suggested 76 Daily Deviations over the course of the challenge!

deviantART Birthday #devart Hunt 2012!Well, it's early August again, and you all know what that means! It's time for the most epic celebration on the planet: deviantART's birthday! This year is no exception, and what's a dA birthday without an image hunt?
The rules are pretty simple. Below, there are two lists: One containing a small fragment of a deviation, and one of a list of deviants in a number of various different galleries across dA. What you need to do is figure out what deviation the fragments belong to, and by extension, what deviant.

A few days ago #deviantART-Related held a chat event - even though it was unprepared for, I'd like to thank everyone for the patience.

Operation TYP [Contest Event!]Grim Face (`GrimFace242) and I decided running our own separate contests in January weren’t enough. We put together a joint event contest too.

What is Operation TYP?
It’s 24 hours of fun, and a dash of mischief, for the literature community. At the start date you will be given a simple task that can be done in as little as 2 minutes. It will be up to you to make it fun and creative though.
What is this task? It’s so super secret we can’t tell you until the start date!

What we can tell you is this: It will be quick and easy. It will be fun. You will have 24 hours to complete the task. You can participate multiple times. There will be prizes for random participants and a little something extra for three creative deviants!

Finally have the time to be on dA again, so I'm sorry for my lateness.

Congrats to all of you! I enjoyed looking at every single entry for the contest; everyone did amazing!

And that was so kind of you guys to donate 1,000 of your prize.

And it seems that all of you are also enjoying the most valuable prize of all the prizes you got: Friendship. I hope to see that last for a very long time.
