As a protest of #SOPA and #PIPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act) two pieces of legislation that are up for debate once again on January 18, 2012, I will be blacked out from all my websites, deviantART included. What does this mean?
"On January 18, between 8am and 8pm EST (or 13:00 and 01:00 UTC), Reddit will be blacking out their website in protest of SOPA and PROTECT IP. This collection of 25+ ideas I have come up with (or am reiterating) is made for all of you. Please comment, share, fave, and suggest changes. All of these are BASE IDEAS. First, thank you for agreeing to be interviewed! I truly appreciate it. If you don't mind, could you tell us briefly how it was that you came to be an official staff member, and about how long ago that was?
I joined deviantART as  a member in 2003 and in 2004 I started volunteering as a Photography Gallery Director.  After volunteering in that area for a little over a year I was offered a job as the Director of Artist Relations (Now Community Relations) in June of 2005 :)

  • 3. Click "Suggest A Favourite" in the top right hand corner.

  • 4. Chose your gallery.

  • 5. Chose your deviation and click submit!

  • 6. The system will only allow 2 submissions. Please do not attempt to send more.

  • Two (2) randomly chosen judges (chosen using a random number generator) will pick their five favorite pieces (total of 10).

We do, but dA doesn't. dA has a glitch that makes it so you must remove it from the other folder first....
