For those of you wondering what SOPA/PIPA are, take a look at this video http://fightforthefuture.org/pipa/
As a protest of #SOPA and #PIPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act) two pieces of legislation that are up for debate once again on January 18, 2012, I will be blacked out from all my websites, deviantART included. What does this mean?
"On January 18, between 8am and 8pm EST (or 13:00 and 01:00 UTC), Reddit will be blacking out their website in protest of SOPA and PROTECT IP. We request all website administrators worldwide - and especially those running large user-content websites - to black out their website at the same time, to voice their opposition of SOPA and PROTECT IP. - Multiple Senate sites were brought down:

- Every student at my school got pissed because Wikipedia was down when they went to do research :lol:

I went to wikipedia during the blackout but nothing was different... And I apologize, but I wasn't able to stay of dA for 12 hours LOL. Just around 10 hours.....

back in the old days, college students went to libraries and read books to study :B lawls. Guess they all see how much easier their lives are made by having information at their fingertips. And see how impacted we would all be if they were shut down. Imagine how pissed they'd all be then.

right before I blacked out my account, I went to several websites I knew were going to blackout or right after they blacked out and took many a screenshots and gimped it all together. then posted it here
