About
The dArt Showdown is a deviantART centered, team competition that will last the next number of weeks on deviantART. Hosted by TimberClipse and IceXDragon in conjunction with DevNews it is likely the first major team competition on deviantART with thousands of points and other prizes up for grabs! 
TimberClipse posted a few days ago suggestions for a project you would want to host, IceXDragon came up with the idea of a Art Showdown. The two members then worked together in order to present a new and great contest.
Prizes
The 4 members of the winning team will each receive:
:star: 3,850 :points: deviantART Points Each
(Donation Thanks: 200 from DianaGrigore, 1,000 from Nesmaty, 200 from Emerald-Depths, 6,000 :devjamminjo

The theme of Round 1 is "Change"


This theme is open to interpretation however an artist or team would like to.

You have 7 days.
First deadline is May 20, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM PDT

All entries MUST be sent to IceXDragon via note. They will then appear in this: collection and you will receive a confirmation message in reply.

Um... not to be mean, i just wanted to say this.
I was really hoping the results would be up yesterday. It would have worked PERFECTLY with my schedule. But they weren't xD And I'm busy starting on the 26th all the way until the 5th of June.
I don't mind waiting at all, but i agree with the other person that it would be a good idea to make it a week between each theme. It would give a lot more time for the judges too.
