New Beginnings Feature

by TimberClipse with assistance from jvsef

What I love about art is that it cheers me up. Sometimes we all need some cheering up after a long week of work or school, and certainly on Monday's when we go back... Plus, ever seen a piece of art that you feel should be seen by so many people? Well now is your chance to get it exposure and to cheer you up!

We have Daily Deviations, we have large features which all showcase many many deviations from many many artists! These are great, but sometimes the gems are overlooked simply because there are so many, and sometimes life is just so crazy that we can't look at them every day so we miss them...

So what's the idea? How will this work? It's simple! If you find an amazing deviation, write up a few words (I would like 2-3 sentences if possible) about what makes it or the artist amazing, and note it to me, TimberClipse. Then every FRIDAY and MONDAY we will feature just 1 deviation to get your week, or weekend going! We aim to find deviations that are gorgeous, compelling, etc.

However, the great thing about art is that art is in the eye of the viewer. That means that we will feature anything and everything that YOU believe is amazing. So, that means every suggestion WILL get featured*

(Please only include 1 deviation in the note, and don't overload me with more than a couple of notes :giggle:)

That's it!

Every FRIDAY and MONDAY starting October 7, 2011, we will feature 1 deviation with a little description about why it was chosen/suggested and who suggested it!

Suggestions can come from ANY deviant including myself! So keep your eyes open!

So get suggesting! Any questions, feel free to comment below or note TimberClipse

If you would like to follow the feature, make sure to either Watch TimberClipse (to get updates in your message center), or watch the news and see it there!

Note: if we ever miss a day, it will be skipped and not made up. This is always possible as real life emergencies occur... We will do our best to not have this happen, but it's always possible

*Naturally we will not feature deviations that violate deviantART's policies, rules, etc. or are disrespectful to another deviant, group of people, etc.

Great Idea indeed!
