As a protest of #SOPA and #PIPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act) two pieces of legislation that are up for debate once again on January 18, 2012, I will be blacked out from all my websites, deviantART included. What does this mean?

Hey y'all, it's that time of year again to get into the holiday spirit. It's a great time for gift-giving and showing that you care for one another. Unfortunately, there are quite a few people this holiday spirit who do not have enough to be able to send out many gifts. Because of that, this year we want to help as many deviants as possible.

25+ Ways To Improve dA - Discuss! Read!Hello Everyone
This collection of 25+ ideas I have come up with (or am reiterating) is made for all of you. Please comment, share, fave, and suggest changes. All of these are BASE IDEAS. In order to really delve into the importance of the worldwide online community, one must first define what it is. There are hundreds of different definitions of what an online community is, but this statement is generally accepted throughout these definitions.

I know that many deviants have had a rough past year. I know I have. For some, it was the economy, for some changes in their families and loved ones, and I know for some it has even been on deviantART. Hello and Welcome to #Feature-Club's third Monthly Feature!

What Is #Feature-Club?

Feature-Club was started just over 4 months ago. Since then we have gotten over 1500 members who all love to feature others, or become featured themselves.

The group accepts just 5-7 pieces a day to ensure everyone gets featured, but unlike many other clubs we do not throw so many deviations at you, that you will miss them.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so we accept all types of artwork and ask members to submit their best.

Cause and Effect - Chapter 1The first-response rescue crews raced down the street passed the Harold residence as John Harold sat on the porch, watching the fires burn not too far down. The fires, a result of the New Madrid earthquake from just a week ago, rolled out thick black smoke into the sky above, flames licking at the murky sky hungrily. If the winds didn't change then Johnny's family wouldn't have to worry about being evacuated.
