oh man, i love anonymous-but this video is ridiculous! the reasons they pulled suport are because of small font and the colors they used on their website? that's ridiculous-i would have expected something with a little more logic or justification than that from this collective which has usually been so on-pont. and yes, i know that jason russell had a public meltdown, but that has nothing to do with the other 99.9% of invisible children's staff or work they've done in the past. this video is way weak.
Also, one thing I noticed is this: Why are they going to "cover the night" on April 20th and not tomorrow? cause that's when everyone is done with taxes and they have all that extra money. I don't know if that's true or not. that is my thought on that snippet of the subject. anyone is welcome to interject their thoughts and ideas on the matter.
I don't know why, but Anonymous videos creep me out. I think it's the voice generator that they use. I never did like Invisible Children, anyway. Something seemed fishy about them from the start.
I love all that influence and control they have. Especially that last statement. Never thought that a monotone computer voice could hold so much power behind it!
I refuse to donate to any charity unless I know them very well. I donate to the ASPCA and local humane society because I'm very familiar with them, and trust them. Plus, having been a volunteer with them I know what happens with the money and supplies donated. I support the work of getting Kony, but not the way the people in the video went about it.
