Daily Deviations Week
What are Daily Deviations?
Daily Deviations (or DDs) are a daily feature chosen from the galleries here on DeviantArt. It is selected by one of the approximately 50 Community Volunteers who are responsible for each gallery on DeviantArt. DDs can be suggested to Community Volunteers by finding the correct CV
and then sending them a note. Deviants can even suggest their own work to a Community Volunteer anonymously!
Each Community Volunteer is allowed to accept or deny any suggestion that they receive. They are also given the ability to set their own guidelines that work within the parameters of the DeviantArt guidelines. Every Community Volunteer has their guidelines outlined or linked to from their front page.
Where to find Daily Deviations
DeviantART released a new interface in late-2014 changing the location of the Daily Deviations from the bottom of the DeviantART home-page to its own section that can be found from the navigation bar at the top.
There are a few ways to navigate to the page.
The first way to navigate to the Daily Deviation page is to type ww
.com/dailydeviations/ into your browser or by clicking here
. This will also automatically set your DeviantArt Homepage to be the Daily Deviation page.
Alternatively, when you are on DeviantArt, navigate to the top of the page and select the item on the right that says DAILY DEVIATIONS
You will then have the option to scroll downwards and see previous days Daily Deviations by clicking the See More
button at the bottom of the page. Daily Deviations date back for many years creating an almost endless supply of incredible artwork selected by the team of community volunteers.
Mobile App Browsing:
Very similar to the non-mobile interface, the mobile app can navigate to the Daily Deviation page at the top of the navigation. One can slide the top bar over if necessary and select the Daily Deviations
button or a simple swipe gesture will allow you to navigate there.
