devNEWS Marathon Begins Today! Get a 3 Month Sub!Hello Everyone,
As a way to help kickstart devNEWS and allow us to start hosting events, contests, improving, etc. we wanted to do a Points Marathon!
From now until November 20, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM we are collecting points at ~DevNews-Points. If we reach 10,000 points or more we will give Three 3 Month Premium Memberships to deviants in devNEWS. However, we must reach that goal to give those premiums 
This marathon will allow us to say thank you for all of your continued support with devNEWS, we could not do it without all of you! You do not have to donate to be elegible for the 3 month premium, you only have to be a member of deviantART and #DevNews, however, we are offering thank you's to those who do donate, even if it is only 10 points 
The points that we gain from this will allow us to begin contests, events, etc. We really hope to have all of your support.

The Thanksgiving Note Project 2011For the past three years, $wreckling (well, it was held by `GaioumonBatou, but he looks the same, so it's the same guy) has organised the Thanksgiving Note Project. What is the Thanksgiving Note Project? This is what `GaioumonBatou said, three years ago:
"I want people to send me notes on DA telling me what they are thankful for! It can be something simple, like being thankful for a sunny day, or it can be personal, like being thankful a loved one or family member is alive: so long as you're thankful for it, that's what counts!"
