This is my first picture of a Pigeon or of anything in which I managed to get the bulk of the image in one type of coloring (this time mostly B&W) and the eye so brilliant!

This is an amazing compostiion of blacks, whites and grays. The one bit of color, the eye of the pigeon, is the smallest "one bit of color" I've seen in any black and white but with a touch-of-color photographs. Although the green leaf obtruding in the background is actually another color, it isn't noticed until the viewer takes a good look.
Except for the chair legs, there are no straight lines. The interplay of curves delights the viewer's eye.
I appreciate the photographic skill of having a camera ready so as to grab a good picture of an animal (or a child) that is at the ready to skitter away.
I love how the pigeon blends a bit with the background given the grey hues, and yet it comes to life—both because the pigeon obviously is alive and due to the focus of the camera.
I love the colors... beautiful grey shades The background harmonize nicely with the bird's colors. Only the eye catch our attention with it's warm color. I also like that metal thing in the background. I don't see what is that, but it looks so good The only thing what hurt my eyes a bit is that little green area on the right side. But I'm not a photographer, just a hobby artist
wow it's totally impressive!!! always when i'm out on holidays i'm running shooting pidgeons (with my cam of course) but never have done something like this one
