I think I'll start with the general statement: I love this! I literally love everything about it. The color of the horse really isn't important (I don't think..) but to me it makes the picture that much better because brown horses are my personal favorites.
I think the angle you've captured this from is great. I like how you can see so much of the horse in such a little frame. I also like how you've focused the image. However, I do think the blurring might be a bit too excessive. It makes it difficult for the viewer to understand exactly what it is they're looking at. I think that blurring the background really draws the viewer into the horse's eye, though, which is really quite stunning. The eye almost looks human!
The title you gave seems to fit extremely well also. The horse's eyes seems so.. sad, and almost all knowing. I really think you hit the jackpot with your title choice.
My favorite part is the detail of the fur though! I like the dusting of white fur on the face. That looks really neat, it gives the horse a little extra character!
Overall, I really enjoyed this piece! You've done a fantastic job with it. I would suggest a slight bit more focus on the background, but I also really love it the way it is here. Keep up the beautiful photography! I hope to see more from you in the future
I will start out this critique by saying that this is a very uplifting photo. I have always adored horses.
I feel like you captured the horses eye really well. Horses have such beautiful eyes! But I will say that I have never seen one with this particular eye color. It is fascinating to me and I love it.
I do however want to point out something that you could possible work on in the future, and that would be that the focus in the background is a little blurry. I don't know if that was your intent or not, but maybe next time you could focus the lens a little more.
Keep up the good work and have a great holiday!
When i look at his eyes, it reminds me of the "blue fire" in the electric cooker of the kitchen!
This is so rare! I am amazed by the result!
