As a protest of #SOPA and #PIPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act) two pieces of legislation that are up for debate once again on January 18, 2012, I will be blacked out from all my websites, deviantART included. What does this mean?

A Shout Out To 3 Fantastic Deviants ($ and =)Hello Everyone...
So, I am sure that I will get some crap for putting this out there, but I really feel someone needs to say it...
There has been some amazing deviants that have really stepped forward since 2012 began. These deviants are people who have joined for fun, work for deviantART or have volunteered. All of them, have done an outstanding job this year and I wanted to take a few minutes and thank them for their work.

Dan has been tirelessly reading through thousands of comments on site updates and really working with the community this year. Last year the staff got a lot of badmouthing from deviants who thought they did not "care" about the community. This year, so many people have stepped up and made a difference. One of the staff that did this was $danlev. He has really done an outstanding job and deserves some credit for the amount of time and effort he has put in.
