Please Critique

I am asking for critiques of this piece as I want to improve. If you are able to leave critiques with helpful information that would be wonderful!

Edit 1:

Thank you all for your comments. I am aware of the black section, and I have decided not to clone it out or change it. This image has NO COLOR CORRECTION or CONTRAST CHANGES it is a pure photo. I chose to keep it this way.

I may see about cropping it out, but that would come later :)
Thank you

I like the vision very much, because, something that caught my eye are the colors that go from darker (bottom) to lighter (sky). I like even a black part, but it's maybe better to crop it. I will come to that later, just to say that this photo is perfect the way it is, because it give us an impact and "lead" us to that place. The mountains, place full of piece, and that big "space" of nothing but us and wonder of the world.

The originality is not in the first plan for me, because, the fact is that there are so many panoramas, but the vision and impact are really there.

I agree with your decision not to change it, or "correct" it. Contrast is no needed here, because, the way the colors "gradient" in every part of the photo is awesome. I'm sure resting my eyes when I'm looking at it. There is no some detail that sticks out, except the black one, so maybe it's better to crop. Everything else is perfect for those who search peace in art and that is something that really need us...

VISION
hahaha sorry, this doesnt give the most in depth vision of all time, however it reminds me of a different planet :D its as if you flew past in a rocket and took the picture, it leaves me thinking up a story :D the only thing that you could maybe improve is to try putting something else in the picture and see how it looks, like a little cottage or (a rocket! :D ) or something, however i realise that you cant cant just snap your fingers and something will appear so i gave you 4 stars :D

ORIGINALITY
ok, the amount of landscapes ive seen on DA is incredible and i used to be all over them but then i stopped because they got incredibly similar. BUT, yours is, to put simply, a lot 'nicer' than others because as said before, i thought it was of another planet, and thus its different to all the rest! (lame excuse but its true, if i saw this picture next to another one that has a lake with a tree next to it, i would pick this one :D ) there arnt any trees in this to obstruct the view (although one couldnt hurt, or maybe a moon? ) but the picture is taken far away so it has that nice rough rolling mountain/hill thing goin on :D to improve you could. . . ummm do nothing?? i think your pretty set up in this department :D good job! 5 stars.

TECHNIQUE
I LOVE IT!!!!! the colors are extraordinary!!!!! and they way the mountains fade into darkness and the sky goes redder as it hits the planet looks really good, the colors compliment each other very well and they are easy to look at, which suits your whole 'planet theme'. the clouds bring a nice touch to the shy s it isnt just a gradient of sky your looking at, and the lake makes the mountains more interesting too!! hmm now that i look more closer, there ARE other things in the picture!! :D the biggest thing i liek it the 'softness' as i mentioned before and the thing i like the least is probably the mountains, the top half are blue and then it changes to super duper dark blue, but i dont know, if its meant to be fog it seems to thick to me, i know that the river is meant to separate it (right? )but i dont know, i guess it looks alright, it just seems a bit off to me . . . anyways i give you 3 1/2 stars for this one :D

(i also just notice that the separate bit of river looks a bit weird too, especially since it right next a bit of orange, but thats just me )

IMPACT
not really much to say on this one, from a little thumbnail it looks not so awesome, you really need to look at the whole thing to get the full exposure of it (maybe you should name it 'click me' or something :D ). to be honest, the first thing i did when i saw this was raise my eyebrows and go 'nice.' lol it makes me feel sort of soft and happy and very calm, ( haha sorry i read the FAQ first :D ) hmmmmm... ok 4 1/2 stars for this.

OVERALL
that's cool!

:D lol no really, considering this is one of you first times managing a photo you did extremely well, you picked up a lot of good stuff (see above) and i think if you wander around and have a look a other photos and experiment with different techniques you will become an amazing photographer!!!
good luck!

Absolutely, just be sure to keep me in the loop about it for the future, and I would love to see the final piece if that's possible.
I'm honored that you'd like to use it!

Thanks! It could take a couple months because of my lack of time and what not, but I'll post it when it's done!
