Ithaca Falls Panorama

`TimberClipse | @zevimages | Web | facebook | IMDb

Dedicated to Fiona, $fourteenthstar

This is a panorama made up of 5 images that spanned this waterfall. I like how it encompasses the viewer and has the water constant throughout.
This is a second shot to the one I submitted the other day, (yell at *11thDimensionPhoto if you don't want to see it)

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy! Please critique!

Ithaca Falls in Ithaca, NY.

Gorgeous photo! I agree, the fact that there's water throughout the whole piece really adds to it overall. It keeps the viewer's attention and is generally appealing to look at.

I think the smooth feel of the water gives the photo a very peaceful, calm atmosphere - makes me wish I was there. :giggle:
It reminds me of summer, being in the water and on the lake with my family. Definitely a happy memory that makes this photo even more unique - and I'm sure others can relate to it as well.

The composition is pretty good though I feel like the horizon is a little crooked and distracting in the way that it looks like the waterfall is tipping. However, that could just be the flow of the water and how the waterfall is shaped.

I can't really find anything else to improve on! It's a gorgeous photo, especially considering it's a panorama. Excellent work!

All those cascades are crazy! I keep seeing this fall pop up everywhere...I think it's trying to tell me to come visit and photograph it. :giggle: Your photo has done just that, Zev! :)

Oh nice! How was the film program there for you? I have been curious about it...

I was there at a time of a lot of transition: consolidation and refocusing of the program. It has its good points, but needs a lot of reworking still. If you're interested in cinematography or directing, I'd say its a strong program. If you looking more for production design (like me), editing, or sound, probably best to skip IC.
