I took this shot while at the reservoir. I had a lot of trouble getting the shot to expose correctly using color, so I decided to switch it over to monochrome... What I got I loved... Slight touch ups using CS6 Bridge.

I really like how this one turned out and it is currently live on my website as well.

Hey Zev, thought I'd leave you with a critique. This piece really caught my eye!

I have to say, really nice piece. I love the somber hues and use of black and white. It really adds to the composition, and well suiting to this one. It really shows of the reflections quite well.

You didn't over staturate the effect either, the lighting and shadows are still intact, and that's really good. The darks and lights add lots of contrast to this one.

The composition itself, I must say, is really beautiful. I really love the wide view, but I would crop a bit off the right. and maybe a bit from the bottom. Just a touch. That's just me though.
The composition has lots of interesting components to it, and it's not boring. The trees frame the piece quite nicely as well. The wide view looks good, and the piece is well balanced.

The focus is really nice. It's not blurry, and everything looks sharp without being cuttingly sharp. It has a good, feel to the eyes. if that makes sense....

I really like this piece. It turned out well, and almost has a spooky surreal feel to it, while being peaceful and calming as well.
